District 202 is committed to closing the achievement gap by embracing the impact of social, emotional, linguistic and cultural diversity on student learning in an inclusive educational environment.

As part of its Diversity Program of Work, District 202 will create a District Equity Advisory Council to help guide the district's diversity initiatives. This initial Advisory Council will include 25-30 parents, community members and staff representing all races, ethnicities and geographic areas of the district.
