District 202 Education Partners,

 

The Board of Education last night approved the 2009-2010 budget, which includes a projected $16 million operating deficit due to growth-related costs and the poor economy.

 

However, the Board asked that administration continue to look for ways to reduce costs in the new budget. And, administration already has a plan in the works to eliminate the deficit by 2013.
