***On Monday, August 13th, we’ll be running a "Mock School Day"  to allow our bus drivers to practice their new morning and afternoon routes before school starts next Thursday. The Mock School Day will also let families see the approximate time that buses will arrive at their stops.***

• The Plainfield Area Interfaith Food Pantry is collecting school supplies in preparation for the 2012-2013 school year. The School Supply Drive benefits private and public school students who live in the Plainfield School District area: Plainfield Food Pantry School Supply Drive
• District 202 will host a special District Wide College Application Night for this year’s seniors and their parents and guardians, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012. This free event will be held in the auditorium at Plainfield South High School, 7800 W. Caton Farm Road.
• The Jon Balke Student Art Gallery is proud to feature black and white photography from Spain, by gallery namesake Jon Balke, through the end of September. The Gallery is located in the Administrative Center, 15732 Howard Street, Plainfield.
• 2012-13 Bus Routes are posted on the front page of the district web site under “Announcements.” Please check this information often, as routes can and do change as more students register.

• One hundred sixty three District 202 high school students (current and graduates) have been named 2012 AP Scholars. This is the most ever for us. Congratulations to all of these great students, their teachers and families: Record-high 163 D. 202 students named 2012 AP Scholars
