5th Grade Celebration!!!
5th grade celebration will take place on Thursday, May 30th. This is not a graduation or promotion. This is simply a celebration for the 5th graders to celebrate their elementary years. Parents are welcome to join them at 11:15a.
KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATION
The 2012-2013 school year is coming to an end and your child is ready to go on to First Grade. To celebrate this special occasion, you are invited to our Kindergarten Celebration. Kindergarten Celebratioin will take place on Friday, May 24th at 9:30am for both AM and PM classes. We wil hld this event in our gym and all family members are invited to join us. All students should come to school in the morning before the second bell rings at 8:55am. Parents may enter the gym anytime after 9:05am. Just a reminder, the kids last day of school will be on May 29th.
.BREAKFAST PROGRAM
There will be a breakfast program at Wesmere starting Friday, March 8th. All students can enjoy breakfast between 8:50 and 9:05 a.m. Breakfast includes and entree, fruit or juice, and milk. The cost is $1.50. Those approved for free/reduced lunch will also be able to get breakfast at the same free/reduced rate. They do not need to have their lunch card. It will be deducted from their account. A menu is available on the school's website.
BOX TOPS
Now that school is back into full swing it is that time of year again to start or continue collecting boxtops for education and labels for education!!! These programs allow our school to get money & free items just by collecting the labels on items you already buy. Each month the classroom with the most collected boxtops WINS a popcorn party!!! All you have to do is send in boxtops to your child's teacher and I take care of the rest!!! If you have any questions, please contact me at:
