THE 2010 CAPE AWARD NOMINATIONS
On Wednesday, March 3, 2010, CAPE will announce the winner of the prestigious CAPE Award at our annual reception. The CAPE Award was established in 1983 to recognize an individual for his/her outstanding dedication and service within the Plainfield Community and schools. The award winner’s name is kept confidential until announced at the reception, and the recipient’s name is eternally recognized on an engraved plaque that is displayed at the District 202 Administration Center.
All members of the District 202 community are encouraged to nominate those individuals who represent a volunteer life dedicated to the betterment of District 202, our children and our community.
THE NOMINATION PROCESS:
Please download the nomination form here, (click here for pdf) and review the sample application provided for ideas. Provide CAPE with as much information as possible, as these nominations are shared with every District 202 schools’ PTAs, PTO’s and PTSO’s and administrators. Each of District 202’s schools will cast two votes in the final selection process on Friday, February 5th, 2010.
THE SUBMISSION PROCESS: -
To email your nomination in Word Format, please submit your information to either CAPE Co-President:
-To submit your nominations in handwritten form via inter-school mail, please send to our CAPE Secretary: Laura Ries Dralle, Wesmere Elementary.
Submissions are due no later than Friday, January 29, 2010. Late submissions WILL NOT be accepted in fairness to all nominees.
