MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD
Students will be bringing home information regarding our Spring Fundraiser. The Spring Fundraiser was voted on at the January PTA meeting. After paying for the playground equipment, which totals $33,500.00, the PTA will be quite low in funds. The funds earned from the Spring Fundraiser will help make our Mega Event more grand in May, and help pay for all of the services the PTA funds all year. We hope to make the Mega Event a fantastic celebration to reward the families of Lakewood Falls for their support and hard work.
SAVE THE DATE
We will be having our Mega Event on May 22nd firm 1:00 –4:00. More details will be sent home as we get closer to the date. We will start planning the event at February’s PTA meeting. Please join us and help make this event unforgettable.
THANK YOU
Thank you for your support. Our Market Day earnings last month were $289.00. Also, the total from Arby’s Night was $186.00. Thank you for all of your support!
BOX TOPS & CAMPBELL’S UPCS
In February we will be submitting the BOX TOPS that have been turned in. Our last BOXTOP total was just under $600.00. Please continue to send them in as we will start counting them for the next submission date. BOXTOPS can be cut, glued on any sheet of paper in sets of 25,and sent to school.
Our teachers were given the opportunity to order school products from the Campbell’s catalog. Thank you for sending in the UPCS and keep them coming!
FUNDRAISER RAFFLE
The PTA will be hosting daily raffles the 16th-19th to kick off the Spring Fundraiser. Students will be able to earn entries into the daily raffles by selling products from the Spring Fundraiser. Students will also be able to earn chances to win a brand new PlayStation 3. For every three items sold, students will win an entry into our grand prize drawing. Therefore, if a student sells thirty items, they will earn ten entries into the PlayStation 3 drawing. Good luck to all of our Lakewood Falls Families.

VOLUNTEERING
Your PTA and all the fun social events we sponsor can NOT happen without volunteers. As we are looking forward to seeing familiar faces, we are equally exciting to meet new people. Please give the gift of your time to help everyone enjoy the events with their families too. The more volunteers we have for events, the more we can rotate people and everyone and participate in the fun. If you wish to be informed via email of upcoming volunteer opportunities, please contact Denise Hohe at: dhpta08@sbcglobal.net
