Student Services

Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 provides services to support students’ academic, social emotional, behavioral, and medical needs. The Student Services Department works within the District's mission and vision to ensure equal access and participation.   We are committed to providing services and supports that are necessary for all students, regardless of race, color, ethnicity, disability status, sexual orientation, national origin, gender, age, citizenship status or religion.

Our goal is to promote student achievement and prepare students for the future by encouraging and promoting academic success while ensuring equal access.  The Student Services Department helps to remove barriers to ensure student success by providing services that support students’ individual needs.  Services are provided in a full continuum of offerings and are in compliance with Federal and State law.  

The Department for Student Services oversees the following programs:

  • Early Childhood Education

  • Health Services

  • Homebound/Hospital Services

  • Homeless - McKinney-Vento Assistance

  • Section 504 Plans

  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

  • Special Education Services
