Facilities

Plainfield South High School proudly provides its students with state of the art music facilities. Band students have access to practice rooms, small ensemble rehearsal rooms, a percussion ensemble room, and MIDI computer lab. Facilities also include instrument storage lockers, a uniform room, instrument repair room, and music library.

Practice Rooms: Students have access to over 10 small practice rooms within the fine arts wing. These are to be used for individual practice.

MIDI Computer Lab: The MIDI lab is equipped with 16 computers and electronic keyboards. Students can use the lab to write music, practice music theory concepts, complete classroom projects, and more.

Locks and Lockers: Lockers are available to store band equipment. Pad locks are provided on each locker, and lockers will be assigned to each student at the beginning of the school year.
