IMEA (Illinois Music Educators Association) hosts fall auditions for district and all-state music festivals. All students are encouraged to participate and audition. Audition music is set years in advance and students are encouraged to start working on this music now. At PSHS we also use the IMEA scale sheets as part of our audition process for band. Students may see a director at anytime for information on how to obtain audition etudes. For the IMEA audition, there is a $7 audition fee per student.
