Welcome to Walker’s Grove Elementary!

The Walker’s Grove (WG) PTO is a dedicated group of parents who support our children and their education.  We work in conjunction with the administration and staff to provide an exciting and safe learning environment for our students.  This year’s main fund-raising goal is to raise money for in ceiling projection systems for every classroom!

The PTO is a great avenue to help you be “in the know” about your child’s school.  We meet for approximately one hour each month.  The fee to join the WG PTO is $5 per adult and this entitles you to an electronic copy of the WG PTO Membership Directory, and an opportunity to be a classroom party volunteer.  During these meetings, decisions are made about purchases and activities that affect your student.  Your voice will always be heard and valued because your opinion and ideas matter to us.  The PTO Executive Board, Dr. Sanders, Mrs. Wilke and staff members are present at each meeting.  We will present all of the most current information for our building and the district each month.

We welcome all parents (moms and dads) and guardians to volunteer for different events and activities; however, there is no requirement to volunteer.  As events are planned, we will send home volunteer requests with your child.  The more help we have, the more exciting we can make this year for our students and families.  We welcome your time and talent to help enrich our school and the lives of our children!
