About Me

I am very excited to assist students on their trek through the acquisition of a second language.

I began learning Spanish as a Freshman in high school just like many of my students.  I like to think of myself as living proof that a person can become a fluent speaker even if he/she didn't start learning until high school. 

I was raised in rural Wyoming and received my undergraduate education there.  I studied abroad in Montevideo, Uruguay, returned to the US and earned a MA in Spanish Linguistics from Purdue Universtiy.  I truly enjoy sharing the gift that is language with my students, because it can open so many doors for them.
