ĄTu Universidad!

Below is information regarding a program offered at Illinois Wesleyan University.  Please check it out and contact them if you are interested.

I am writing this email to inform you that the registration website is now available for ¡Tu Universidad! and the application deadline is Friday, January 27th.  As you may know, Latino/a students and families sometimes face unique challenges with the college search and financial aid process. With this in mind, we have developed a program for prospective Latino/a students at Illinois Wesleyan University called ¡Tu Universidad!, and it will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2012.

This one-day event includes assistance with transportation, information on the college search process, campus tours, time with current Illinois Wesleyan students and faculty, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid [FAFSA] completion workshop, and an opportunity to explore the surrounding Bloomington / Normal area. Please help us promote this event by sharing information with students and colleagues. We appreciate your assistance and hope that you will refer any students you deem to be a good fit. Preference will be given to seniors who have applied, but juniors are also welcome to apply (students may submit their application online). Once final eligibility is confirmed, all applicants will be contacted by our office.
