Crystal Lawns Elementary students in Lauren Minott’s first grade class practice writing sentences using sight words such as “grade” on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. The students used a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast two stories, “The Gingerbread Man” and “Runaway Pizza.”

REGULAR INFORMATION

  • The Board of Education will meet in regular session on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the district administrative center, 15732 Howard Street, Plainfield. Public session starts at 7:30 p.m.

The Board will meet virtually because of ongoing pandemic-related health and safety concerns and social distancing guidelines. However, the community can watch the meeting online and submit public comments via email:

  • Plainfield South High School senior athlete Niko Schultz broke the 20-year-old state record for the fastest time in the 600-meter run at the Misfits Invitational track meet held in February. At the time of the event, he was ranked first in the country for the 600-meter run in his age group.
