COVID-19 AND SCHOOL CLOSINGS

District 202 schools are CLOSED March 17th-April 7th per Gov. Pritzker's order.

Schools are scheduled to re-open on Wed., April 8th at the earliest. We will update families if this date changes.

The Spanish Community Center in Joliet is also hosting a food pantry every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its office, 309 N Eastern Ave, Joliet. Just bring an ID of any kind (student ID/state ID/Daybreak Shelter ID, etc).

The Illinois State Board of Education has deemed the two-week mandated closure as “Act of God” days. Therefore, they will not be made up at the end of the year. As well, student grades cannot be issued during Act of God days.
