District 202 kindergarten through eighth grade students can learn about art during the second annual week-long Art Summer Camp at Plainfield High School-Central Campus, 24120 Fort Beggs Drive.
Participants will learn drawing, painting and ceramics techniques in four, two-hour sessions from Monday, July 30, 2018 to Thursday, August 2, 2018. Registration ends June 15, 2018.
All classes meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in these age groups:
Registration is $100 and includes art supplies and a T-shirt. There is a 10 percent discount off the total if more than one child is registered from the same household by using code TENOFF at checkout.
District 202 employees get a 25 percent discount by using the TEACHER25 code at checkout.
Students will get to take home all their creations, and should wear play clothes or art aprons to class.
All proceeds will go to the PHS-CC Art Department and the National Art Honors Society.
