Spring may not arrive on schedule this year, but District 202 high school musicals will hit the stage right on time this March and April.
Here are this year’s shows, in chronological order:
Plainfield East High School presents “All Shook Up” at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 15 and 16; and 2 p.m. March 17, 2019.
The show features the music of Elvis Presley, one girl's dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of love and the power of rock and roll.
Advance tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students, staff and seniors.

Plainfield North High School presents “Big Fish,” the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest and then some.
Bloom’s incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales
Performances are 7:30 p.m. March 15 and 16; and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2019.

Plainfield South High School presents “Legally Blonde: The Musical” at 7 p.m. March 15 and 16; and 2 p.m. March 17, 2019.
Legally Blonde is the story of Elle Woods, a bubbly, blonde sorority girl from California.
After being dumped by her boyfriend, Elle decides to follow him to Harvard Law school to win him back. Elle must fight to prove herself to professors and peers that only see her as a “dumb blonde” with little ambition.
She realizes she deserves more than she has been given in the past and decides to stay and work for the career that most people doubt she can achieve.

Plainfield High School – Central Campus presents “The Addams Family,” at 7 p.m. April 11, 12 and 13; and 2 p.m. April 14, 2019.
The Addams Family has lived by its unique values for hundreds of years and Gomez and Morticia, the patriarch and matriarch of the clan, would be only too happy to continue living that way.
But, their dark, macabre, beloved daughter Wednesday, has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet, smart boy from a normal, respectable Ohio family.
To make matters worse, Wednesday has invited the Beinekes to their home for dinner. In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change.
