Professional Development

Professional development in District 202 encompasses many types of learning opportunities for staff.  Including:

  • New teacher Induction for teachers in their first, second and third year of teaching.
  • Activities that are relevant, interactive and apply learning through modeling and practice.

Teachers are asked to keep track of all CPDU hours and to enter them into ELIS on a regular basis, this will be necessary for certification renewal.

For questions pertaining to advancement on the pay scale, obtaining advanced certificates, or Professional Growth hours that are not part of the induction program, contact the District 202 Administration and Personnel Department (Human Resource) at (815) 577-4057.
