5:80 GENERAL PERSONNEL - Court Duty

Please refer to the following current collective bargaining agreements:

“Agreement for Negotiations between the Board of Education, Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, Will and Kendall Counties, and the Association of Plainfield Teachers.”
“Agreement for Negotiations between the Board of Education Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, Will and Kendall Counties, and the Plainfield Association of Support Staff.”

For employees not covered by these agreements:

The District will pay full compensation for such time with no loss of any leave, seniority, or loss of any other benefits, an employee is on court duty or, pursuant to a subpoena, serves as a witness or has a deposition taken in any school-related matter pending in court. 
The remuneration received through the court system shall be forwarded to the District. An employee should give prior notice of pending court duty to the District. 
Witness Duty

The District will pay full salary during the time an employee is absent due to a subpoena to service as a witness in a trial or have a deposition taken in any school-related matter pending in court.

Jury Duty
The District will pay full salary during the time an employee is absent due to jury duty.
