Ridge Elementary School physical education teacher Connie McGrath taught first graders a sign language dance with an empowerment theme this month.

McGrath got the idea during the April 2 professional development day from OPEN or the Online Physical Education Network, a group that presented during the institute.

McGrath then taught her students the routine in a little less than a week.

We are #202proud of this learing in action!
