MESSAGE FROM DISTRICT 202

Hello Education Partners,

Hope you have had a good week. Here is today’s District 202 news and information:

District 202 schools will be open on March 20th, which is the day of the state primary election.

As usual, the Will and Kendall County clerks offices require the use of 19 of our schools as polling places.

Therefore, we have arranged for police officers from Joliet, Plainfield and the Will County Sheriff's Department to be posted at each of those schools during the school day.

Although primary elections tend to see low voter turnouts, we felt it important to take this extra step to ensure security and provide some comfort to our families.

Future school calendars are set having no student attendance on election days.

  • The Board of Education will meet in regular session on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the District Administrative Center, 15732 Howard Street, Plainfield. The public session starts at 7:30 p.m.
