Hello Education Partners,

Hope you have enjoyed your first week back from Spring Break. Here is today’s selection of District 202 news and information:

  • The District 202 Board of Education meets in regular session on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Heritage Grove Middle School, 12425 S. Van Dyke Road, Plainfield. The public session starts at 7:30 p.m. Here is the agenda.
  • District 202’s sixth annual "Road to Reality" program will highlight the consequences of teen drunken driving paired with distracted driving on April 25, 2018 at Plainfield North High School.

All District 202 seventh to twelfth graders and their parents or adult guardians are strongly encouraged to attend.

Foundation for Excellence Annual Dinner and Auction

  • Three Plainfield High School graduates will be inducted into the District 202 Alumni Hall of Fame at the annual Plainfield Foundation for Excellence dinner and auction fundraiser on April 19, 2018.
  • Plainfield East High School junior Adam Collins will compete at the national Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) event in July in San Antonio, Texas. Three other District 202 students also competed and did well at the regional event.

The District 202 Community Relations Department is traveling around the district taking pictures. Check out what our students have been up to!
