District 202 Education Partners, hello…

We’ve re-designed the Education Partners template to be less cluttered and, we hope, more user-friendly.

This is just one of many communications improvements (big and small) planned for this year. Hope you like it.

  • District 202 has gone digital! Please click on the icons above to check out our:
    • Official Facebook page. (Note: there are several Facebook pages that refer to District 202. Ours specifically says “Education” in the title.)
    • New District 202 Mobile App: mobileapp15
    • District 202 Twitter page.
  • The 2015-16 school year calendar has been amended to add four “early release” days, to give teachers time for professional development and curriculum work. This will not affect the start or end of the school year. Here is the new calendar: new1516cal
  • Please note: summer hours for public access to schools and facilities will be in effect from June 1st to July 24th: summhours

KUDOS AND CONGRATULATIONS
  • The Plainfield Bandits 18 and Under softball team, coached by Plainfield East High School softball coach Chris Morris and including Plainfield High School – Central Campus graduate Michaela Schlattman won the Independence Day Tournament in Boulder, Colorado.  

The 16 and Under team, including Plainfield North High School junior Carolyn Hett won its tournament as well.  This is one of the most prestigious softball tournaments in the country.
