TOP SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

These District 202 social media posts got the most attention and feedback this week:
instagram @psd202 hosted its inaugural English Language summer school program for #lakewoodfallselementaryschool and #creeksideelementary students from June 10 to July 18. Creekside EL teacher Laura Howieson created the program which was open to incoming Kindergarten through sixth grade students. Creekside EL teacher Judy Epling helped teach the once a week classes. The program was designed so EL students could work on their literacy skills over the summer. Students worked on literacy units that incorporated math, science and social studies. #202proud #summerschool

facebook River View Elementary School has a Sensory Path in its main hallway thanks to Girl Scout Troop #75136.

The troop designed and installed the path as a service project. The path encourages students to hop, skip and jump out their extra energy in a constructive way.

The troop is lead by Samantha Scanlan and Jennifer Deisinger.
