MESSAGE FROM DISTRICT 202

Hello Education Partners!

Hope you have had a good week.

Here is today’s District 202 news and information:


  • District 202 and the Valley View School District are once again teaming up to present the 11th annual Community Resource Fair next Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Plainfield East High School. ***For the first time ever, the Fair will be held in the evening (5-8 p.m.)
  • District 202 is proud to take part again this year in the Northern Illinois Food Bank’s “Hunger Action Month” Food Drive. We are collecting food and dry goods at all 30 schools and the district office through September 22, 2017.

  • The District 202 Board of Education will meet in regular session on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Plainfield East High School, 12001 S. Naperville Road, Plainfield. The public session starts at 7:30 p.m. Here is the agenda.
  • The Jon Balke Student Art Gallery is proud to feature black-and-white photography this month from the gallery’s namesake, Jon Balke. Check out Mr. Balke’s amazing work the next time you’re at the District Administrative Center, 15732 Howard Street, Plainfield.
