Hope you have had a good week. Here is today’s news and information:

• Here are the Board of Education Meeting Notes from the November 20, 2017 regular meeting.

• The Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2017 tax levy – our official “request” for the taxes due to the school district – at 6:30 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017. The Board is expected to vote on the levy later that evening.

The levy itself is up by three-tenths of a percent over last year, but the projected tax rate is down by about 4 percent.

• The District 202 girls co-op swimming team did very well at state last weekend:

• PNHS sophomore Jessica Davis finished eighth in both the 200-meter freestyle and 100 freestyle;
• PNHS sophomore Kali Franckowiack came in 10th in the 200 freestyle;
• PNHS senior Kate Meunier finished 12th in the 200 IM;
• The 400 freestyle relay team (Franckowiack, Davis, Meunier and PNHS junior Kellynn Hayes) placed ninth.
