Lakewood Falls Elementary students and faculty taped Principal Scott Winters to the wall on Halloween as a reward for the school’s successful fundraiser.

Hope you have had a good week.

Here is our “Halloween Week” selection of District 202 news and information:

This Week's Highlights

  • The old “District 202/Blackboard Mobile App” that had been available in the Apple and Google Play app stores has been de-activated and deleted from those stores.

To get the current award-winning District 202 website on your mobile device, simply call up www.psd202.org on your mobile device’s browser and save the website to your device.

  • The Board of Education will meet in regular session on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the District Administrative Center, 15732 Howard Street, Plainfield. The public session will start at 7:30 p.m. Here is the agenda.

Week in Review

These District 202 social media posts got the most attention and feedback this week:
facebook John F. Kennedy Middle School seventh grader Regan Reinertson poses with a sign for Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

In October, the community is encouraged to celebrate people with Down syndrome and tout their abilities and accomplishments, and to remove the “R-Word” from its vocabulary.

To learn more about Down syndrome visit www.nads.org or www.r-word.org.
