Board of Education Regular Meeting Notes

Here are the Board Notes from the December 19, 2022 regular meeting.

 
Board of Education approves 2022 tax levy

District 202 will ask the Will and Kendall County clerks for $220,300,240 in local property taxes (including bond and interest) through the district’s 2022 levy – about $16 million or about 7.85 percent more than last year’s total levy.

 
Strategic Plan approval

The Board of Education approved the District 202 Five-Year Strategic Plan at its Monday meeting. The plan will help guide the district from 2023 to 2028.

 
Superintendent’s column, WJOL appearance

Dr. Glenn Wood recaps the first school semester under his leadership in his December column.

Wood also was on the radio Tuesday, December 20 with Scott Slocum on WJOL.
