Judges examine a robot made by team 7 from Plainfield North High School during the inaugural District 202 High School Science Fair on January 26, 2019. The team won first place in the fair which was organized by PNHS senior Nick Lowe.

Four days off due to bad winter weather, yet District 202 never really sleeps…Here is today’s selection of D. 202 news and information:

This Week's Highlights


  • “The Screen Zombie” social media safety program hosted by Plainfield Parent Community Network that was scheduled for January 31st will be rescheduled.
  • Plainfield South high school students can get free heart screenings in February 2019. (PHSCC and PEHS students will be able to get the same screenings next school year.)

***Parents, guardians and community member volunteers are also needed to help screen students***

The two wrestled in the school's auditorium in front of teammates, family and friends to rousing cheers.
