Central Elementary School kindergartners in Alyssa Milano’s class became doctors on Friday, March 10, 2023 to review concepts they learned this quarter. They used stethoscopes to tap out the syllables of words and solved math problems to fix a patient’s heart.

Middle schools to host theater productions
Six middle schools will stage theater productions beginning this weekend at Heritage Grove and Drauden Point. Ira Jones staged its play last fall.

C.A.P.E. to host candidate forum
The four candidates running for the District 202 Board of Education on April 4, 2023 are scheduled to participate in a public forum from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023. The forum is hosted by C.A.P.E or the committee for the Coordination of Administration and Parent groups for Educational efficiency.
