John F. Kennedy Middle School eighth grader Ariella Delapena smashes a whipped cream pie in math teacher Zack Magnuson’s face on Friday, March 12, 2021. Ten students who recited as many numbers of the mathematical figure "Pi" (3.14) as they could earned the chance to “pie” a teacher or administrator in the face. Pi Day is Sunday, March 14, 2021.

The District 202 Board of Education is seeking nominations for its 29th annual Awards of Excellence and the 6th annual Cheryl Ricciardi Exceptional Student Service Award.

  • District 202 community members are invited and encouraged to nominate a District 202 staff or community member for the 2021 CAPE Community Award.
