LIFELONG LEARNERS! More than 30 District 202 math teachers and learning specialists recently gathered at the District Office for a Math Instructional Strategies cohort. The group will meet monthly throughout the academic year to learn and implement research based instructional practices in third through eighth grade math classrooms.

This Week's Highlights
September – National Hunger Action Month

District 202 is happy to once again participate in a consortium of local governmental entities to help combat hunger in the community in the month of September, which is National Hunger Action Month!

To help support the local food pantries, the Village of Plainfield, C.W. Avery Family YMCA, Plainfield Park District, Plainfield Area Public Library, Plainfield School District 202, and Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce are encouraging everyone to donate to the community food drive which benefits Bags of Hope, a private backpack food program, the Plainfield Area Interfaith Food Pantry, and St. John Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
