The Plainfield School District Foundation for Excellence is seeking nominations for its 16th annual Alumni Hall of Fame, which celebrates District 202 graduates who have made outstanding contributions in their professions and communities.

Nominations are due by January 13, 2026, and may be submitted by anyone in the District 202 community.

The Alumni Hall of Fame honors graduates who exemplify excellence, leadership, and service beyond their high school years. Established in 2011, the program is a proud tradition that showcases the accomplishments of District 202 alumni and promotes a culture of inspiration for today’s students.

Nominees should have demonstrated exceptional achievement, service, or leadership that has earned them recognition on a local, regional, national, or international level.

Categories for nomination include:

• Arts and Entertainment

• Business and Commerce

• Community Service and Volunteerism

• Education and Humanities

• Government and Military

• Medicine and Health

• Philanthropy and Non-profit

• Science and Technology

• Sports and Recreation

To be eligible, nominees must have graduated from a District 202 high school at least 20 years ago, or from Plainfield High School before the district was formed. Exceptions may be made for individuals who entered the military before graduation or under other special circumstances.

Anyone in the District 202 community including alumni, staff, faculty, administrators, and residents may submit a nomination. Posthumous nominations are also welcome.

A selection panel of Foundation Trustees will review all nominations. Inductees will be honored at the Foundation’s annual Dinner and Luxury Bingo event on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club. To learn more or view past inductees, visit www.d202foundation.org.
