DP NIGHT AT PSHS FOOTBALL GAME
This Friday, September 11th, 2026 is Drauden Point night at the PSHS football game. Our students are invited to come watch the football game and get a chance to experience the Cougar Culture. Plainfield South is playing against the Joliet West Tigers.
Our Drauden Point middle school band will perfrom during halftime, Students and their families or guardian can sit in the middle school section of the bleechers. This is the far northwest side of the stadium. There will also be food and drinks for sale at the concession stand hosted by the PSHS Boosters. Tickets can be purchased at the following link: PSH football tickets (student entry is free, but they must have their ID) all other family members need to purchase tickets.
Drauden students MUST have their ID's and a guardian or family with them to attend the game.
JV game starts at 4:30pm and the Varsity game starts at 7:00pm.

STUDY HALL CANDY CONTEST
The PTO is hosting a CANDY CONTEST by grade level for the parade.
The study hall that brings in the most candy by Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 will earn "Connie Time" and a special treat. Please make sure that every bag of candy is marked with the study hall teacher's name.

We are holding a contest for PTO Family Memberships. If you join the PTO with a PAID membership, you will be entered in a raffle for a free Spirit wear item of your choice. Membership is $10.00. If you already joined with a PAID membership you will be included in the raffle. Deadline to join is Friday, October 2nd. The winner will be chosen at our October PTO membership meeting. You do not need to be present.

Volunteer Opportunities:
We will work in the Student Support Center (S.S.C.) so volunteers will need to come and leave through the "E" door. The "E" door is on the side of the building by the field, right past the gym.
Monday's & Wednesdays before school at 6:45am
Tuesdays after school at 3:00pm
Saturdays: 5th & the 19th from 9:00 - 11:00am

Updated Laptop & Charger Policy
To foster daily student accountability, we will no longer issue loaner laptops or chargers for forgotten devices.
Damaged Devices: If a student's device is damaged and requires repair, they should report to the Media Center to drop off their laptop and pick up a temporary loaner. Loaners will also be issued for state testing days as needed.
Daily Expectations: Other than repairs or state testing, students are expected to bring their charged Chromebook and charger to school every day
