For-Profit Advertising
For-profit entities or businesses may advertise to District 202 families or staff. District 202 will email appropriate, approved advertising after the for-profit entity has made the designated monetary donation to the District 202 Foundation for Excellence.
NOTE: for-profit advertising is limited to emails sent directly to targeted audiences. Businesses cannot distribute advertising directly to families as part of this program.
Rules
For-profit advertising will be distributed only through the district office (Community Relations department)
The Superintendent or his/her designee will review/approve all district-level advertising from for-profit entities to ensure it meets district policies (8:25)
The Superintendent or his/her designee may deny advertising for any appropriate reason, per district policy
Designated donation must be received before advertising will be emailed.
Donations can be made online or by check to the District 202 Foundation c/o District 202 Administrative Office, 15732 Howard Street, Plainfield, 60544.
The Director of Community Relations will email appropriate/approved ads to:
district families
district staff
both district staff and families;
specific schools (all)
families OR staff at specific schools
specific House or Level
Current Virtual Backpack protocols will continue:
non-profits and community athletic organizations will continue to use the Virtual Backpack.
***Non-profits may also buy advertising for a 25 percent, discounted donation to the Foundation for Excellence. This cannot be coupled with additional discounts for multiple campaigns.
For-profits will not be able to use the Virtual Backpack.

**District 202 schools are grouped by an internal "House" feeder system that generally aligns with the district's four geographical areas.
