District 202 hosted its fifth annual Summer Summit Ed Tech Conference the last week of July.
More than 1,000 district staff attended the conference virtually or in person from July 28 to July 31.
The theme, “Artificial Intelligence in Education - Tools, Strategies & Future-Ready Classrooms,” sparked dynamic conversations and hands-on learning.
Session topics included AI best practices, productivity tools, and navigating our digital platforms.
“The 5th Annual Summer Summit was more than just a conference; it was a collaborative leap into the future of education with our Instructional Technology Coaches,” said Laura Shervino, Director of Digital Learning and Innovation.
“Together, we are not just teaching with new tools, we are building tomorrow's classrooms with the teaching and learning of a future-ready classroom.”
The hands-on sessions led by district Instructional Technology Coaches and EdTech vendors provided invaluable, practical experience.
The conference concluded in-person on July 31 at Plainfield North High School with keynote speaker Jenn Brown, Senior Program Manager at Google.
