District 202 high school music departments will host their annual Madrigal Concerts in December.
Plainfield High School-Central Campus
will host its 47th annual Madrigal Performance at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5, and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in the auditorium, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield.
Enjoy sounds of the holiday season, as guests are ushered into the King’s Great Hall for an evening of food, music and merriment. Enjoy performances from our Madrigal Singers, Madrigal Instrumentalists and for the first time, our combined Bel Canto and VoiceMale acapella groups.
Tickets are $10 and include dessert and wassail.

Plainfield South High School presents “Two princesses. One crown. A Yuletide showdown of music, manners and mayhem in the Southern Kingdom!” at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in the auditorium, 7800 W. Caton Farm Road, Plainfield.
After years among the common folk, Princess Francesca returns home for the holidays, only to find herself in a crash course on royalty. With jealous nobles, last-minute lessons and a Yuletide feast on the line, it's a royal mess you won't want to miss.
General admission tickets cost $10, and Blue House student tickets cost $5.

Plainfield North High School presents “Castle Castaways: A Madrigal Concert” at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 12, and 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the auditorium, 12005 S. 248th Ave., Plainfield.

Plainfield East High School will host its Madrigal Performance with a meal at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, and 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in the auditorium, 12001 S. Naperville Road, Plainfield.
