BMLC preschool registration opens for 2026-2027
Open registration, no lottery for D202 families
The Bonnie McBeth Learning Center (BMLC), District 202’s Preschool and Early Childhood program, will open registration for the 2026–2027 school year using a new in-person-only, open registration model with no lottery.
Registration will be conducted in person only and will be 
offered on a first-come, first-served basis for all District 202 preschool locations.
BMLC serves preschool-aged children in a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment designed to help young learners grow socially, emotionally, and academically. The program blends hands-on, child-directed learning with comprehensive support services to meet the needs of every child.
“Our preschool program is built to support the whole child,” said BMLC principal Kristin Brower. “From small class sizes to on-site services and certified staff, we are committed to creating an engaging learning experience where children can thrive.”
Tuition-based preschool programs for District 202 will be located at the Bonnie McBeth Learning Center. Off-campus preschool locations will offer a five-day program only and will be located at Creekside Elementary School, Freedom Elementary, Meadow View Elementary and Ridge Elementary.
Registration Timeline 2026
Registration begins with a window for returning students and siblings, followed by open in-person registration dates for all families and continued weekday registration until programs are full. Registration is in person only; there is no online registration.
All registrations are first-come, first-served. Once programs reach capacity, a waiting list will be created.
Parents can apply for the:
Two, three, and five-day programs at Bonnie McBeth Learning Center.
Off-campus preschool locations will offer a five-day program only and will be located at Creekside Elementary School, Freedom Elementary, Meadow View Elementary and Ridge Elementary.
The open registration timeline is as follows:
January 27: Registration opens for returning students and siblings
February 13: Deadline for returning and sibling registration
February 26: Open Registration Day 1, 3:30 - 7 p.m.

February 27: Open Registration Day 2, 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Registration Requirements
On all registration dates, families must bring:
A completed preschool registration packet, available online at https://www.psd202.org/o/pccsd/page/preschool-registration
All proofs of residency as listed on the District 202 Student Registration page at https://www.psd202.org/page/student-registration
A $100 non-refundable deposit to complete registration
Enrollment for the general education preschool program at BMLC is open to all District 202 children ages 3-5. This program is in an inclusive setting. Students must be three years old on or before September 1, 2026, to enroll for the 2026-2027 school year.
