The Plainfield South High School football team will recognize its senior players at the home game tonight, Friday, October 16, 2026.
On Wednesday, October 14, the 17 seniors surprised teachers and staff by recognizing them for making a positive impact on their lives at Plainfield South.
The seniors gave out “I Made an Impact” T-shirts to the staff members and teachers during the school day. Each shirt had each player's last name and number on the back.
First-year head football coach Robert Szudarski wants to make this initiative an annual tradition.
“I wanted our student-athletes in our program to appreciate all of the people in our PSHS community who give them support, invest in them, encourage them, challenge them,” he said.
