Midsummer/Jersey is the hilarious high-octane re-telling of Shakespeare’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream” set on the boardwalk of a seaside town in modern-day New Jersey. The story revolves around the impending marriage of the Governor of New Jersey, the love affairs of four beach-bound high school crushes, a lively crew of fairies, and the staff of the local beauty salon (run by Patti Quince and Stylist Nikki Bottom). The night takes a magical turn when Oberon and the impish Puck arrive on the scene armed with a powerful love potion and a desire to cause mischief. With several weddings and the acting careers of six beauticians hanging in the balance, the lovers take to the boardwalk, backed by pop music and an iPhone-obsessed wood sprite.

As Grace fights for justice against her former employer, she faces opposition from those closest to her and challenges society’s beliefs about health, wealth, and the commercialization of science. This powerful drama explores the human cost of corporate greed and one woman’s determination to hold those responsible accountable.

In honor of its 80th anniversary, PNHS is proud to present “It’s A Wonderful Life.” This famous holiday classic, which originally debuted as a film in December of 1946, has worked its way into the hearts of people for decades, and we want to celebrate its powerful messages of the importance of family, friendship, community, faith, and love.

This particular screen adaptation by Doug Rand is incredibly true to the film and has not been produced in many years. This touching story follows George Bailey, a man whose lifelong sacrifices for his community leave him questioning his own worth, until a guardian angel offers him a profound perspective on the difference he has made.
