Hearing Notice Regarding School Improvement Days

The Plainfield Community Consolidated School District #202 will hold a public hearing at the Board of Education regular meeting on Wednesday November 18, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., on the approval of a waiver to School Code 105 ILCS 5/10-19.05 regarding Full Day of School Improvement days starting with the 2027-2028 school year. The district requests a waiver to use 4 of the 6 extra days to facilitate a full day school improvement day, leaving the district with 176 student days which meets the State of Illinois 176 student day requirement.
