Bonjour! The Plainfield East High School French Club hosted their own Olympic Games last week to kick off the school year. The club recruited members of the other cultural clubs to make this more representative of the spirit of the Olympic Games. Students could participate in hula hoop and jump rope contests, Pétanques (French version of bocce ball), relay races, and break dancing. A special thanks to the club officers which include president, Jason Engh and co-vice presidents Madeline Dygdon & Rachael Uy. A faculty member said the students are amazing and have worked tirelessly to get this event up and running.
