Sue Hasenyager, who survived the 1990 F-5 tornado that tore through Plainfield, recently talked to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School third graders about her experience. She also brought artifacts from the time including a clock from Plainfield High School that stopped when the tornado hit it. Her talk coincided with the units on weather and local history.
Former Charles Reed ES students return the week before graduation to walk the halls as Plainfield South High School seniors. Students lined the halls and cheered them as they walked.

Plainfield East High School hosted the Mikva Soapbox Speech competition last month with students from East and West Aurora, and Geneva high schools participating. Students gave speeches advocating for change in topics such as gun control and voting rights. #202proud
