
PSTEP students hosted their annual appreciation banquet at Joliet Junior College. Program supporters visited booths to learn about the jobs each student had this year. Departments represented included horticulture, custodial, technology maintenance, special projects, audio visual technology.











Members of the District 202 Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) attended the 19th Annual Statewide Summit for Bilingual Parents on May 3, 2025.
The event is designed for members of BPACs and parents of EL or English Learners.
Conference presenters addressed topics such as equitable funding and services for English Learners, family engagement, Pre-K—Grade 12 educational programs and services, higher education opportunities, parental leadership and advocacy, and community needs.
The conference was sponsored by the Illinois Resource Center in collaboration with the Multilingual/Language Development Department of the Illinois State Board of Education.
