John F. Kennedy Middle School eighth graders in Jen Gruca's ELA class learned about helicopters thanks to a classmate's dad, who landed his copter at the school on Wednesday morning.

ATTENTION: There was a false alarm at Plainfield South High School this afternoon. A lockdown was activated and police were called. The school is all clear.

PSTEP students hosted their annual appreciation banquet at Joliet Junior College. Program supporters visited booths to learn about the jobs each student had this year. Departments represented included horticulture, custodial, technology maintenance, special projects, audio visual technology.
